Pratt instituteは1887年にチャールズ・プラットによって創立されたニューヨークの私立大学です。メインキャンパスがあるブルックリンのほか、マンハッタンにもキャンパスがあります。専攻分野が豊富で、ファッション、建築、インテリアデザイン、デジタルアートなど美術だけでなく空間デザインにも力を入れており、また美術大学ではめずらしい香水について学べるコースもあります。大学・大学院のほか、1年で修了するサーティフィケートプログラムも開講しており、サーティフィケートではめずらしく学生ビザ（F-1）が取得できます。
